Although it looks so cool, retroreflective foil used on our RemigoOne outboards isn’t there just for the looks. As everything else outboards are build from, retroreflective logos also have their exact purpose.
Retroreflective technology is most commonly seen on road signs. Light (from car reflectors) approaching directly towards it makes this material shine brightly – retroreflect. This is really important for reaching (roadsign) visibility at night. As devoted tech-fans we used this brilliant technology to make our outboards more visible at night, and thus reaching more safety for its users without unnecessary light pollution. We surely have in common the respect for inimitable peace when boating in the wild nature in the quiet hours, right?

Better night visibility means safer boat rides later in the evening or when approaching yachts or marinas. It also comes really handy if you’re searching for your dinghy at low daylight – simply direct your phone flashlight towards the boats and wait until your RemigoOne makes a shiny response!

We use a marine-grade 3M foil, built for use on nautical equipment, so it withstands water, salt and UV with no problem.

A bit about the customization process: Our designer will contact you shortly after the purchase. You’ll need to provide us with a (preferably vector) file of your desired artwork. We will make a free preview of it so you’ll know exactly how the end logo will look like. When you’ll be happy with the result, we will make it happen! The end result is a standard Remigo logotype on one side of your brand new electric outboard, and your logo on the other!
