At Remigo, we are committed to providing high-quality products. That’s why we offer a warranty to the final purchaser of the RemigoOne outboard motor, ensuring that the product is free from material and manufacturing defects. We are here to help if any issues arise. Please review the following warranty terms to understand what is covered, what isn’t, and how to make a claim.

The Warranty Covers the Following:

Remigo, d.o.o., registered in Stanežiče 27e, 1210 Ljubljana Šentvid, Slovenia, guarantees that the RemigoOne outboard motor will be free from material and manufacturing defects for two years from the date of delivery to the final purchaser. If a defect is found, we will cover the cost of repair for the fault. However, this does not include any additional costs related to the claim, such as towing, telecommunications, accommodation, or loss of income.

Please note that products used commercially or by public authorities are not covered by this two-year warranty. In those cases, only the statutory warranty applies. Warranty claims must be made within six months of discovering a defect.

If a defect occurs, we will decide whether to repair or replace the faulty parts. Please be aware that distributors and dealers authorized to repair Remigo motors cannot make legally binding decisions on our behalf. Also, normal wear and tear and routine servicing are not covered by this warranty.

We reserve the right to reject a warranty claim if:

  • The warranty claim was not submitted correctly (see How to Make a Claim below).
  • The product was not used according to the instructions provided in the User Manual.
  • The safety, operating, and care instructions were not followed.
  • The product was altered or modified in any way, or if non-Remigo-approved parts or accessories were used.
  • Previous repairs or services were carried out by unauthorized firms, or non-original parts were used (unless it can be proven that these factors did not contribute to the fault).

In addition to this warranty, you also have legal rights under your purchase contract with the dealer, which are unaffected by this warranty.

How to Make a Claim:

To ensure that your warranty claim is handled smoothly, please follow this process:

  1. Contact Us: Before sending any potentially faulty products, you must first contact us by phone, email, or post. Our contact details are available in the user manual and on the webpage. We cannot process products that have been sent to us without prior notification and will refuse such deliveries.
  2. Documentation: When submitting a claim, we need the following documents:
    – A copy of the Warranty Certificate which must include the product serial numbers.
    – A completed Warranty Form with the relevant serial number, your contact details, and a brief description of the fault.
    – Proof of purchase, such as a till receipt or invoice, indicating the purchase date.
  3. Shipping: If you need to ship the product, please note that the Li-ion battery is classified as a UN hazardous item, and shipping must comply with the relevant directives. We recommend using the original Remigo packaging for shipping. If shipping via sea or air, you will also need the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and UN38.3 certificate, which we can provide upon request.

If the Customer submits a valid warranty claim, Remigo will, at its option:

  • repair the product; or
  • replace the product.

We are here to help with any questions about the warranty process. Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] or use the contact information provided on the last page of the user manual.
